Media Art Space(MIAS/M.A.S) is a professional studio that plans and produces original and experimental media art content based on diverse art platforms and digital technologies. We create visual content optimized for a wide range of media environments, expanding the boundaries of space and medium while offering visual experiences that redefine the intersection between art and everyday life.

KIBEUM LEE/ JOY
Joy (Kibeum) earned a Bachelor’s degree in Film from the University of the Arts London and a Master’s degree in Media Interaction Design from Ewha Womans University. Expanding her practice across diverse video platforms, she explores the possibilities and value of interdisciplinary art through digital media. She has carried out projects across a broad range of visual design fields, including film, documentary, drama, media art, stage design, advertising, music videos, and digital content production. She is the founder of Media Art Space, where she continues research and creative practices aimed at expanding accessibility to digital visual arts.
기쁨(Joy) 작가는 런던예술대학교에서 영화 전공 학사를 마치고, 이화여자대학교에서 미디어인터랙션디자인 석사를 졸업하였습니다. 다양한 영상 플랫폼을 기반으로 작업 영역을 확장하며, 디지털 미디어를 활용한 융복합 예술의 가능성과 가치를 탐구하고 있습니다. 영화, 다큐멘터리, 드라마, 미디어아트, 무대디자인, 광고, 뮤직비디오, 디지털콘텐츠 제작 등 폭넓은 영상디자인 분야에서 프로젝트를 수행해 왔으며, 현재는 미디어아트스페이스(Media Art Space)를 설립하여 디지털 시각예술의 접근성을 확장하기 위한 연구 및 창작 활동을 이어가고 있습니다.

미디어아트스페이스는 전통적인 상하 위계형 제작 구조가 아닌, 독립 아티스트 기반의 수평적 협업 시스템으로 운영되는 미디어아트 프로덕션 네트워크입니다.
각 참여 아티스트는 프리랜서 또는 사업자등록을 보유한 독립 창작자로서, 물리적 공동 작업실이 아닌 개별 작업 공간에서 온라인 협업 환경을 통해 프로젝트 단위로 유기적으로 연결됩니다.
이를 통해 미디어아트 제작, 영상 콘텐츠, 디지털 비주얼 작업 등 다양한 분야의 전문 인력이 효율적으로 협력하며, 프로젝트 특성에 최적화된 유연한 제작 구조를 구현하고 있습니다.
Media Art Space is a media art production network operated through a horizontal collaboration system based on independent artists, rather than a traditional hierarchical production structure.
Participating artists are independent creators—either freelancers or registered business operators—who work from their own individual studios rather than a shared physical workspace. They are organically connected on a project basis through an online collaborative environment.
Through this structure, specialists across media art production, video content, and digital visual work collaborate efficiently, enabling a flexible production system optimized for the specific characteristics of each project.
